چکیده
Abstract. Streamflow hydrograph analysis has long been used for separating streamflow into baseflow and surface runoff components, providing critical information studies in hydrology, climate water resources. Issues with established methods include the lack of physics arbitrary choice separation parameters, problems identifying snowmelt runoff, limitations on watershed size hydrogeological conditions. In this study, a Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE)-based model was developed to address these weaknesses improve separation. The is physically based requires no parameters. new compared six provided U.S. Geological Survey Groundwater Toolbox. results demonstrated improved estimates by particularly filtering out bias estimate. This specifically suitable applications over large watersheds which complementary traditional that are limited size. output from also includes hydraulic conductivity drainable storage, useful parameters evaluating aquifer properties, calibrating validating hydrological models, assessing regional

Estimating Snow Mass and Peak River Flows for the Mackenzie River Basin Using GRACE Satellite Observations
Flooding is projected to increase with climate change in many parts of the world. Floods in cold regions are commonly a result of snowmelt during the spring break-up. The peak river flow (Qpeak) for the Mackenzie River, located in northwest Canada, is modelled using the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite observations. Compared with the observed Qpeak at a downstream hydro...
متن کاملA Novel Method for VANET Improvement using Cloud Computing
In this paper, we present a novel algorithm for VANET using cloud computing. We accomplish processing, routing and traffic control in a centralized and parallel way by adding one or more server to the network. Each car or node is considered a Client, in such a manner that routing, traffic control, getting information from client and data processing and storing are performed by one or more serve...
متن کاملUsing GRACE Satellite Gravimetry for Assessing Large-Scale Hydrologic Extremes
Global assessment of the spatiotemporal variability in terrestrial total water storage anomalies (TWSA) in response to hydrologic extremes is critical for water resources management. Using TWSA derived from the gravity recovery and climate experiment (GRACE) satellites, this study systematically assessed the skill of the TWSA-climatology (TC) approach and breakpoint (BP) detection method for id...
متن کاملA Novel Method for Travel System Patterns
Due to population growth in urban areas, especially in the capital cities in developing countries, the use of private vehicles are increasing, leading to many problems such as congestion, pollution, noise, long travel time, high travel cost and more side effects. In such circumstances government policy would encourage people to use public transportation. In the meantime, employing the Intellige...
متن کاملA novel local search method for microaggregation
In this paper, we propose an effective microaggregation algorithm to produce a more useful protected data for publishing. Microaggregation is mapped to a clustering problem with known minimum and maximum group size constraints. In this scheme, the goal is to cluster n records into groups of at least k and at most 2k_1 records, such that the sum of the within-group squ...
